LONDON (United Kingdom)- “Algeria, unlimited opportunities” was the main focus of a meeting held Monday at London Stock Exchange to explore investment opportunities in Algeria and promote Algerian-British cooperation.
The meeting, organized by international consulting company UCI with the support of the British government and the Algerian Embassy in London, brought together companies and British businessmen from several sectors interested in the Algerian market as well as Algerian officials and businessmen who provided practical guidance on business climate in Algeria.
On this occasion, the British economic operators were informed about the Algerian market’s potentialities and established business contacts with their Algerian counterparts.
UCI’s Representative Kevin Mulhany underlined the importance of the number of investment projects in Algeria, which has quadrupled since 2012, reaching 9,000 projects in 2013, according to the figures of the World Bank.
“Algeria isn’t an emerging country but a prominent country,” he said, inviting the British investors to benefit from it. (APS)
